Hannah Reed

Joel was born and raised in College Station, Texas, and finished high school in Highland Park, Texas. In 2014, he chose to move to Austin to be close to his family. Joel always loved writing, so the idea of publishing a magazine was right up his alley. You can often find him listening to an audiobook or podcast. Joel trains and competes in powerlifting as well. One thing he enjoys is making his wife laugh and playing endless games of chase with his two daughters. He’s passionate about helping business owners grow their businesses.

Stroll Rough Hollow is a great way to get a better sense of the community and local businesses. It’s so fun to get to meet families, and I always love hearing the pet highlights and the athlete or student of the month too. As a newer resident to Rough Hollow, it’s been a fun way to get a better sense of the community and who is a part of it. We have been super fortunate to discover quite a few local businesses within Rough Hollow and the Lakeway area. For the 4th of July, we used ATX Boat Rentals. It was such a fun day, we did a four-hour day at the lake with the big boat, I think we had 12 friends and our kids and jumped in the water. We use a number of recommendations through our Stroll Rough Hollow.
