Tom and Mary come from classic Midwestern roots—Tom from Wisconsin (a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and proud UW–Madison alum) and Mary from Chicago (also a Big 10 alum), where she developed her love for the water and community-centered living. Their journey together is one shaped by faith, resilience, and gratitude.Their hope for Stroll RiverTown and Stroll Shearwater is simple: to celebrate the people, stories, and moments that make these neighborhoods feel like home. Through resident written features, partner spotlights, and meaningful in-person events, Tom and Mary are honored to help foster connection and community—one issue at a time.When they aren't working on the next issue, they enjoy spending time with their 5 kids exploring the area they now call home.
