The 2026 Julington Creek Baseball 7U Tigers didn't let a slow start define their season. After opening the year 0-3, the young team rallied behind Head Coach Patrick Kline and Assistant Coaches Greg Taylor, Brendon Blair, and Ryan Loomis, winning every remaining game on their schedule before capturing the league championship.

"I looked at those first few games as extra practices," Coach Kline said. "The boys needed real game experience, and I knew if they kept working hard, things would start to click."

And click they did.

The Tigers dominated down the stretch, winning five straight games by double digits before facing the Braves in a thrilling championship game. Tied 4-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Jason "The Sandman" Ukrainets and Ethan "The Hurricane" Hernandez delivered back-to-back singles to keep the rally alive.

With two outs and the championship on the line, team MVP Colton "COLT 45" Kline came through with a walk-off single, scoring the winning run for an unforgettable 5-4 Tigers victory.

The championship team included Colton "COLT 45" Kline, Sebastian "The BASH" Blair, Casin "The Rocket" Sanders, Connor "The Beast" Taylor, August "The Hammer" Garcia, Maddux "MadDog" Driscoll, Ben "BIG BEN" Loomis, Jamison "S Train" Schwebel, Jason "The Sandman" Ukrainets, Ethan "The Hurricane" Hernandez, Lachlan "The Irishman" Fitzpatrick, and Brecken "The Rock" Fuller.

Several players earned season honors, including Casin "The Rocket" Sanders, who received the Golden Glove Award for outstanding defense; Sebastian "The BASH" Blair, winner of the Silver Slugger Award for his offensive production; and Colton "COLT 45" Kline, who was named Team MVP.

The Tigers' success, however, was built on every player contributing throughout the season. Maddux "MadDog" Driscoll played every position on the field, Connor "The Beast" Taylor delivered clutch hits and stellar defense, and Ben "BIG BEN" Loomis consistently came through in key moments. Every player embraced their role, helping turn a difficult start into a championship finish.

The season's success also extended beyond the field. Dugout Mom Sara Blair kept the team organized, while DJ Corinne Kline made every game feel like a major league event with personalized player introductions and walk-up music.

More than a championship, the 2026 Tigers built friendships, confidence, and memories that will last long after the final out.
