Savor the Last Days of Summer
As August arrives in Northeast Florida, there’s a subtle shift in the air. The days are still warm, afternoon thunderstorms still roll in, and the pools are still full - but there's a feeling that another season is just around the corner.
For many families, August means new beginnings. Backpacks are packed, classrooms are buzzing once again, college students are heading off to new adventures, and routines begin to replace the carefree pace of summer. It's a season of fresh starts, new goals, and exciting possibilities.
Here in our community, it's also a reminder of what makes this neighborhood such a special place to call home. Whether it's waving to neighbors on an evening walk, cheering together at youth sports, gathering for community events, or simply sharing a conversation over coffee, these everyday moments are what build lasting friendships and strengthen our community.
One of the greatest joys of publishing Stroll is seeing those connections come to life each month. Every issue is filled with your stories, your celebrations, your accomplishments, and the people who make this neighborhood extraordinary. Thank you for continuing to open your homes, introduce us to your families, share your milestones, and support the local businesses that invest in our community alongside you.
As we move into a new school year, let's also remember to slow down a little. Be mindful of children walking to school, wave to a neighbor you haven't met yet, attend a community event, or support one of our Preferred Business Partners. Small acts of kindness have a remarkable way of making our neighborhood feel even more like home.
We hope this month's issue inspires you, introduces you to someone new, and reminds you just how fortunate we are to live in a community where neighbors truly know one another.
Here's to making the most of these final weeks of summer and looking forward to all that fall has in store.
See you around the neighborhood!
With much gratitude,
Tom & Mary Comerford
