Say Hello to Kristen and Gordon Oldham

Going Strong in Venetian Isles for Three Generations!

The Oldham family has a special tradition in their family. “Our kids are three generation Venetian Isles residents and sixth generation Floridians,” says Kristen Oldham proudly. She is married to Gordon Oldham and they are blessed with three children: Olivia (7), Emerson (6), and Graham (2). They also have a fish named Daisy and enjoy watching her happily swim around in her tank.

Venetian Isles holds a special place in their hearts. Kristen, who grew up in the neighborhood, moved into Venetian Isles in 1986. Her mother still lives in the neighborhood today, which is ideal for Olivia, Emerson, and Graham. Having their grandmother close makes it easier to connect and share life’s precious moments together.

Kristen and Gordon have called Venetian Isles home since 2018. “It’s home for sure,” smiles Kristen. She is rooted in the community and has watched it evolve through the years. “I love the neighborhood feel,” she says.

Kristen and Gordon’s Background

Kristen, who is originally from St. Petersburg, enjoys being a dentist for her profession. She always gives her patients something to smile about! Gordon, who is originally from Leesburg, serves the community as an attorney. When they aren’t working, they love walking in the neighborhood and cooking delectable dishes to please people’s palates.

Family Fun

What’s a typical weekend like for the Oldhams? Expect to find the kids swimming in the pool for fun in the sun. Kristen and Gordon also like grilling out and trying new restaurants with the kids. On Sundays, everyone likes attending Faith Covenant Church.

To escape the hustle and bustle of life, this family of five loves to vacation. Where do they go? You can find them at St. Simons and Sea Island, Georgia, which is always fun for everyone. Marco Island, Florida is another popular getaway. Sailing in the British Virgin Islands is also relaxing and rejuvenating.

We are honored to feature the Oldham family in this month’s issue. Be sure to say hello to them when you see them out and about. They would love to meet more friendly folks here in Venetian Isles (and that means you!).
