Fun Activities in October
Saturday, Oct. 1, 6 p.m.
Enjoy the Third Annual Movie on the Lawn and Foodiefest located at the Crystal Falls Public Golf Course and hosted by Stroll Travisso. The event kicks off with food trucks and food/wine sampling at 6 p.m. Local artesian vendors are excited to meet you! Bring a blanket and enjoy an evening picnic with your neighbors. At sundown, Stroll will present an outdoor movie sure to entertain most audiences. This year, we’re featuring Gremlins on the big screen! There is no cost to attend, but we are taking donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the Hill Country Community Food Pantry. Questions? Call Jen Pizer at 512-850-1712.

Enjoy cooler temperatures and live music at the 17th Annual Honda Leander Bluegrass Festival, held at The Mason Homestead (1101 Bagdad Road, Leander). Enjoy food vendors and a fun zone while listening to some awesome local music. Friendly, leashed pets are also welcome. Admission to the festival is free. Fun zone wristbands are $15 per person.
