You could say that Bristol Park at Eagle Mountain Assisted Living & Memory Care got a facelift.

 

On October 20, Bristol Park at Eagle Mountain held an open house to show off its new-look Memory Care community. The event marked the culmination of several months of planning and preparation as the community’s leaders sought ways in which they could enhance an already-stellar resident experience.

 

“It has been very successful,” Bristol Park at Eagle Mountain Executive Director Terri Gilmore said. “There were people who have toured before who came to the open house and told us it looked brand new.”

 

The new-look Memory Care community features redesigned common spaces, more natural light and paint colors that create a calming, peaceful environment for those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. It complements the general feel of the community, which is located in a quiet, laid-back part of Fort Worth less than one mile from Eagle Mountain Lake and 30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth.

 

“I like to say we’re a little country and a little city,” Terri said. “We have open spaces and lake views, but we’re close to the city and halfway between Alliance Medical Center and the Fort Worth Medical District.”

 

Before the renovations, Bristol Park at Eagle Mountain Assisted Living & Memory Care was already recognized as one of the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s top senior living communities. In September, it was named “Best of Assisted Living” by US News & World Report.
