My mom made these on Sundays growing up and they are foolproof to make! Perfect for a cold winter weekend morning.

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1.5tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 T butter

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl
  2. Add milk, egg and vegetable oil and stir until just combined
  3. Heat 1T butter in nonstick pan or griddle over medium heat.
  4. Pour 1/4 cupfuls to form pancakes about 1/2 inch apart.  Once the top starts to bubble flip and cook for another minute or two until both sides are golden brown.
