A Taste of Community: STROLL’s Earth Day Dining Experience at Bruno’s on Broadway

In celebration of Earth Day, STROLL Summerfield Farms hosted an exclusive Restaurant Review experience at Bruno’s on Broadway, bringing together neighbors and preferred partners for an evening centered around connection, conversation, and exceptional food.
The curated Italian tasting highlighted Bruno’s commitment to whole ingredients, scratch-made dishes, and a cleaner approach to dining. Owner Chad Sweeney was on site throughout the evening, engaging with guests and sharing the passion behind each course.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and full of energy. Neighbors had the opportunity to connect, meet new faces, and enjoy a unique dining experience designed not just to be enjoyed, but to be shared and reviewed.
The evening featured a four-course tasting, each dish paired with wine to complement the flavors.
The first course included stuffed hot peppers paired with Tre Case Prosecco, described by guests as spicy with just the right kick, balanced by a refreshing finish. Some even noted how the addition of bread turned it into the perfect bite.
The second course, a rich and flavorful chicken aioli paired with Barraco Grillo and Catarratto wine, stood out for its buttery garlic sauce and smooth, creamy texture. Guests appreciated the depth of flavor without the dish feeling too heavy, with one noting it had a perfectly balanced finish.
The third course featured spaghetti and Bruno’s famous meatballs, paired with Biscaris Nero d’Avola wine. This course quickly became a favorite of the night, with multiple guests calling the meatballs phenomenal and just like Nana used to make. The pairing of the rich sauce with the bold red wine was described as perfect on the palate.
To close out the evening, guests were treated to a classic cannoli, earning consistent praise for its crisp shell and perfectly balanced filling. One guest shared how much they loved the addition of maraschino cherries, calling it a delicious finishing touch. Overall, the dessert received five-star reviews across the board.
Beyond the food, what truly made the evening special was the sense of community. Guests shared that one of their favorite parts of the event was gathering with neighbors, meeting new people, and enjoying a night out together.
From icebreaker activities to shared tables and conversations, the event created an environment that was both fun and engaging. Many attendees expressed interest in attending future events, noting how much they enjoyed the unique experience.
Overall feedback across atmosphere, presentation, service, food and drink, and overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. Every guest indicated they would return to Bruno’s and recommend it to a friend.
