Two Years of Stories, Smiles, and Sweet Celebrations

Residents and community partners gathered to celebrate STROLL Summerfield Farms turning two with cake, champagne, and meaningful connections.

Stroll Summerfield Farms turned two this June, and residents and partners came together for a sweet celebration to mark the occasion. The event was held on Tuesday, June 17, hosted by CMK Builders and Real Estate at their historic porch and building located at 42 Aurora Street in the village of Lancaster.
The evening brought together many former featured families, who each took home a framed copy of the issue in which they appeared on the cover – a special keepsake to honor their stories shared over the past two years.
The Lancaster-Depew-Elma Chamber of Commerce joined us for a unique cake cutting ceremony. Since STROLL never had an official ribbon cutting when it launched, this milestone felt like the perfect moment to celebrate with cake instead. Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro also attended, presenting a proclamation and plaque to mark the occasion, alongside a congratulatory certificate from the Chamber.
Guests enjoyed sweet treats courtesy of Frosted 716, including a giant two-tiered pink champagne cake with buttercream frosting and cookies featuring the STROLL logo and Morty the mascot. Of course, no celebration is complete without popping bottles of champagne for a toast to the future.
Some of our junior writers also joined, as well as members of our events team, adding to the excitement of the day.
A big thank you to CMK hosts Matt, Jamie, and Alex for welcoming us, and to Shannon from Gotcha Covered for joining the festivities. While the weather was hot, the company was even warmer, and everyone enjoyed some laughter, memories, and community pride.
To all of our resident writers, contributors, readers and preferred partners – thank you. You make this magazine and our events possible. We are ever so grateful to share your stories each month and look forward to many more celebrations together.
