Mac and Debbie Wear recently took a month-long cruise from Barcelona to Istanbul. The excursion led them along Europe's south coast and some Greek and Turkish islands on a Viking ocean cruise. Along the way, there were stops in France, Monaco, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, and Turkey.

The once-in-a-lifetime trip was filled with many notable highlights. Debbie recalls the perfect weather, excellent ship and crew, and the eventful stops in smaller cities. At a restaurant in Florence, on Easter day, they met a couple who sat close by. The young man turned out to be the college roommate of their younger daughter's boyfriend.
