Last Spring, The Spot Neighborhood Grill, in partnership with Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, welcomed residents to a lively, pet-friendly tasting event that brought neighbors—and their four-legged companions—together for an afternoon of great food and connection.

With perfect spring weather setting the scene, guests enjoyed a delicious sampling of The Spot’s menu, from flavorful wings and fresh salad to juicy burgers and their popular Sedona chicken sliders. The combination of good food, friendly faces, and wagging tails made for a memorable neighborhood gathering. By all accounts, the event was a hit—especially among the dogs, who gave it two paws up and plenty of happy barks afterward!

A special thanks to Jeremy Schammel, owner of Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, who spent time with our “precious pets” and brought delicious treats to keep their tails wagging all night long!

Co-owners Andy Berens and Executive Chef Tod Rawson envisioned The Spot as a welcoming, family-friendly destination where great food and community come together. Their scratch kitchen offers a wide range of options from brunch through dinner, featuring creative yet approachable dishes like Cali Fresh Chicken Flatbread, Tequila Shrimp, Smoky Bourbon BBQ Wings, and what many call the best burgers in Phoenix.

Guests can also enjoy a spacious patio, multiple screens for catching the big game, and live music on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons—all complemented by a warm and attentive staff that makes every visit feel special.
