One More Summer Conversation
I have always believed that neighborhoods are built one conversation at a time.
Sometimes it's a quick chat while walking the dogs. Sometimes it lingers a little longer after a neighborhood event. Sometimes it's meeting someone for the very first time and realizing you've lived just a few streets apart all along. Those moments matter. They are how strangers become neighbors and neighbors become friends.
That is exactly why Stroll Riverview exists.
As August rolls in, it feels like we're standing between two seasons. Summer is taking its final bow, while football, school schedules, and cooler evenings await just around the corner. Before life speeds up again, I hope you'll squeeze every ounce out of these last weeks of summer. Sit on the porch. Jump in the pool. Fire up the grill. Invite someone over. Make one more memory.
Inside these pages, you'll meet incredible neighbors, celebrate meaningful moments, and discover local businesses that continue to invest in the place we all call home. Every article starts with a conversation, and every story reminds me why I love serving this community.
To everyone who has welcomed me into your home, shared your family with me, introduced me to your pets, attended one of our events, or simply stopped me to say hello, thank you. You are the heartbeat of this magazine. I may be the publisher, but you are the storytellers. I would love to sit and have a conversation with you. Let's find a time to sit and visit. Kelly.Harple@StrollMag.com or on my cell phone 407.929.3739.
As we turn the page toward fall, here's my challenge for you. Introduce yourself to someone new. Support a local business. Attend a neighborhood gathering. Wave a little longer. Stay for one more conversation.
Because you never know where one conversation might lead.
I'll see you around the neighborhood.
