Dapper Dudley: The Frenchie with a Flair for Fun
From birthday parties to Halloween costumes, Dudley knows how to live life in style — and keep the Enclave entertained.
Birthday Boy Vibes – Always ready for cake, presents, and a party.
When the Graham family moved to the Enclave in 2012, they immediately fell in love with the lively community, the sidewalks perfect for strolls, and the easy camaraderie among neighbors. In 2023, they built a new home within the neighborhood — but one thing has remained constant: their beloved French Bulldog, Dudley.
An eight-year-old male “Frenchie” with a personality as big as his bat-like ears, Dudley has been part of the family since Thanksgiving 2017, joining them from a breeder in Ringgold, Georgia. Known affectionately as “Duds” or “Mr. Duds,” he’s a true character. Like most Frenchies, Dudley “talks” to make his wishes known — usually about snuggling, playing, or going for a walk.
He’s got some quirks, too. Dudley has a deep dislike for the vacuum cleaner, preferring instead to zoom around the yard in bursts of hilarious energy. Tricks aren’t really his thing, but he’s smart enough to “stay” and “come” when the mood strikes. What he truly loves is snuggling on the couch — but only if it’s his idea.
At the Graham house, birthdays are serious business. Dudley gets his own cake or cookie, wrapped presents, and a celebration that’s all about him. On his first birthday, the family even hosted a dog party, complete with cake for the pups and personalized bowl party favors. Halloween is another highlight — the Grahams’ family-themed costumes always include Dudley, whether he’s a Ghostbuster, a Minion, or a groovy hippie.
In the neighborhood, Dudley’s favorite companion is CoCo, a pretty black Frenchie his owners lovingly call his “girlfriend.” One of his favorite humans is “Bebe,” Matt’s stepmom Barbara, who runs “Camp Bebe” whenever the Grahams travel. He also can’t resist a Starbucks pup cup, which he enjoys with gusto.
With his charm, antics, and love for community life, Dudley is more than just a pet — he’s a true neighbor, making life in the Enclave even more delightful.
