Meet the Jones Family!

Hi! We are the Joneses. Our names are Mason, Brittnee, Murphee, Myles and Esme (due this month). We have two dogs, a goldendoodle and a Pitt mix, Charley and Chewy. We have lived in Rivendell, on Rivendell Drive, for almost 3 years and we have LOVED every minute of it.

My husband and I met in Stillwater during America’s Greatest Homecoming at Oklahoma State University in the fall of 2011. Our fraternity and sorority houses (Farmhouse and Kappa Delta) were paired together to compete in Homecoming competitions.  We started dating shortly after and were married in October 2015. We began our family in 2019 with our daughter, Murphee. Two years later we welcomed our son Myles and are about to welcome our third (and final), Esme Grace. By the end of summer, we will have a four-year-old, a two-year-old and a newborn! It’s a full house for sure- but we are SO blessed. Some things we love to do together as a family are gardening, spending time outdoors, working out, and watching the OSU Cowboys. We also love to spend time with our family who happen to live in Vinehaven and Kingswood.

Mason is a Project Manager for a construction management company, Goldsby Construction. He has been in construction since graduating from Oklahoma State in 2014 with a degree in Construction Management. His favorite thing about his job is seeing the final product come together. I am a practicing real estate agent in Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas. I’ve been a realtor for the last 5 years. Before real estate, I was a special education teacher in Edmond and then a kindergarten teacher in Yukon.  My favorite thing about being a realtor is helping people find their dream home as well as starting their investment portfolio. I love all aspects of real estate and have loved being able to spend time with the kids at home, while doing a job I love.

Mason enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, golfing, as well as snowboarding in Colorado. You may have seen him getting some archery practice in the open field South of the neighborhood.  He is excited to start bringing the kids hunting and snowboarding with him. I enjoy reading and “homeschooling” our children. If you drive by our street, you also may see us in our garage “gym” or running laps around our street. We also enjoy spending time in our backyard under the pergola that we had built a couple of summers ago.

We tend to be homebodies, so we spend a lot of our free time at home with our family. We realize how fleeting time is, so we love spending time together with our children. Our favorite things to do with the kiddos are going to the zoo and the science museum. We are hopeful to start to branch out and do some more activities once they are all a bit older.

We are so blessed and grateful to live in Rivendell. This has been our favorite neighborhood we have lived in and don’t think we will ever want to leave. We love how kind our neighbors are, how quiet the neighborhood is and how safe we feel here.
