Meet Henry the Gentle Giant
Type of animal/breed: Bernese Mountain Dog
Pet's age: 1 year
When & where did you adopt your pet?
Bear Acres, Bedford, KY
What made you decide to make your home your pet's forever home?
His adorableness. Big fluffy boy, with the sweetest personality.
How did your pet get his/her name?
Ralph just thought he looked like a "Henry"
Does your pet have any favorite toys, places to sleep, visit, etc?
Favorite toy is his Lamb. Loves to visit the dog park and hang with friends, and favorite spot is sitting on dad's lap.
Tell us something quirky or funny that your pet does:
He has no spatial awareness...he will walk over you, sit on your lap, shoulder, or head, wherever his bottom happens to land.
How has having your pet made your life better?
Henry makes sure we laugh every single day. Sometimes he just rests his chin on our lap and looks up at us with soulful eyes.
Is there anything else you want to tell the neighbors about your pet?
Henry may be huge, but he is very gentle. He will always back off, even when a much smaller dog barks or snaps at him. He is the definition of a "gentle giant." He loves everyone.
