McLovin was found as a stray and, sadly, was never claimed. Like most Quaker parrots, he's equal parts sweet and spicy. He enjoys spending time with people and is comfortable being handled, but don't be surprised if he gets a little protective of his favorite treats and toys. A guy's got to have his treasures!

Healthy, vocal, and full of charm, McLovin is looking for a bird-savvy family that can offer him a roomy cage, plenty of enrichment, delicious treats, and lots of love. In return, he'll provide endless entertainment, funny antics, and enough personality to fill the whole house.

Hours at the Smithtown Animal Shelter are currently Monday - Saturday 10AM - 3PM. (Sundays and Wednesday evenings: by appointment only).
