Born in the Midwest and raised in a small town in Texas, Caroline Swift loves country music, and George Strait is her all-time favorite artist. She attended the University of Texas and majored in Business Administration & Finance, then found her way to Laguna Niguel in 1990, where she met and then married her husband, Larry. They have raised their three daughters here, and all attended Moulton Elementary, Niguel Hills Middle School, and Dana Hills High School. Carly and Claire both graduated from California universities and are working locally, while their youngest, Courtney, is currently a junior at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Caroline brightens every room she enters and is the owner of Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative, and her passion for travel, dedication to her clients, and fervent personality are her secrets to success in the travel industry. The Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce has partnered with her for their group travel, most recently returning with a large group on the Danube River on Viking Cruises. The chamber has a lot more trips in the works, including a 2023 land tour of the Amalfi Coast and a Greek Isle Cruise on Azamara!
Caroline is active with the surrounding communities as a member of the Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano Chambers of Commerce. She also serves her community with the Laguna Niguel Lions Club, Rotary Club, and the Laguna Niguel Senior Club. City, County, and State governments are no strangers to Caroline, as she was the Court Administrator at the former “South Court” for 15 years on the property adjacent to City Hall.
Caroline conducts monthly cruise night events at Salt Creek Wine Company in Laguna Niguel, featuring cruise suppliers and rotating itineraries. Her Viking Cruises Events include wine tasting, food of the region, and a great presentation by the cruise line. Her June 14th event will feature Oceania, American Queen, and Rocky Mountaineer, an evening you won’t want to miss!
