Hats Off to a Senior Star
My name is Misha Narendra, and I am a senior at Notre Dame Academy High School, a participant in various extracurricular activities, and a writer.
In high school, I have been involved in the Debate Club, the Medicine, Health, and Society Club, and the French Club. As the president of the Debate Club, I initiate conversations on important topics and encourage others to explore the world of diction and argumentation. As co-president of the Medicine, Health, and Society Club, I bring awareness to ALS, a neurodegenerative disease, by addressing its seriousness with my peers while also exploring different fields of medicine alongside other students. As French Club president, I ensure the planning of enthusiastic, culturally aligned activities, such as the Mardi Gras celebrations each year.
Along with club activities, I also participated in swimming during my first year and have played tennis all four years. Outside of high school extracurriculars, I am actively engaged in Indian classical dance and piano, and I am currently an intern at The Brain Center of Green Bay. In all, these experiences and the people I have met have helped shape the person I am today.
My plans include attending Northwestern University and majoring in neuroscience. I am looking forward to meeting people from different walks of life and exploring more about myself as well. Overall, I am excited to start, learn, and enjoy this next chapter of my life.
