Summer State of Mind
As the official season of sunshine arrives, we invite you to slow down, connect, and celebrate the people and moments that matter most.
There’s just something about June, isn’t there? The days feel longer, the evenings are slower, and everything seems to invite us outside a little more. With the longest day of the year right around the corner, it feels like the perfect time to take a deep breath, ease up on the pace, and enjoy the little things — whether that’s dinner on the patio, a walk with a neighbor, or just sitting still for a minute.
This month is full of moments worth celebrating. Father’s Day gives us a chance to pause and appreciate the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who have shown up for us in big and small ways. Their steady presence, wisdom, and encouragement shape our lives more than we probably say out loud.
And of course, we have an incredible group of graduates in this issue. I loved reading through their stories—so much hard work, determination, and heart. Each one is stepping into something new, and it’s exciting to think about what’s ahead for them. It’s also a good reminder of how special it is to be part of a community that supports and cheers on its people.
As always, this issue is filled with stories of neighbors, local organizations, and businesses that continue to show up and make Bermuda Run such a great place to live. That sense of connection is what makes this community feel like home.
I hope as you flip through these pages, you find a little inspiration to slow down, reach out, and enjoy this season.
Happy summer, friends!
