What do you like best about school and why?
Seeing my friends! They are a huge part of my life and keep school fun. I like physics and math-based classes. I think these classes will help me decide what I want to study in college.
Share about the activities you are involved in.
I have been playing basketball since 4th grade. I play varsity basketball for Centerville as a shooting guard. I also love to sing. This year, I am part of Centerville's elite a Capella group, Forte! There are many opportunities to hear us perform at the school and at other local community events.
In addition to school activities, I am part of the youth group at Incarnation/St. Francis parishes. Last summer, I participated in a weeklong retreat at Lifeteen in Georgia.
What would you like to be when you grow up and why?
I am currently exploring my opportunities since college is very close on the horizon. If you had asked me when I was younger, my answer would have been a storm chaser. I still want to chase a tornado someday but realize I am not going to make a career of it because my parents say so.
What makes you happy and why?
Travelling because it's fun, I like spending time with family and friends, and I like seeing new places. My dog, Graham, because he's so cute and snuggly.
Describe any talents or special skills you have.
Singing! I recently participated in the OMEA solo and ensemble contest and received the highest rating of superior. This is a requirement to achieve an honors grade in Forte.
What do you like to do with your family and friends?
I like to go shopping, play pickleball, and try new foods with my friends. I like to visit my grandparents, who all live in Pennsylvania, and my cousins who live outside of Pittsburgh.
Share about the vacations you've taken. Which one was your favorite?
My favorite vacation was in the Pacific Northwest. We have extended family who live there, and we got to visit the original Starbucks, Seattle, Bainbridge Island, and Olympic National Park, and we did a whale-watching tour. It was amazing.
What accomplishments are you most proud of and why?
Getting into Forte has been my biggest accomplishment. Overcoming my fear of performing in front of an audience is very difficult. I still get nervous, but I'm able to perform.
Who are some of your heroes and why?
My mom, because she is a good person and always helps people; Ariana Grande, because she's an amazing singer; and Jesus, because he is the ultimate example of how to live your life with kindness.
Please share some interesting facts about you that not many people know.
I love tornadoes. I love coffee. I like to go hiking.

Chasing a tornado.
