Joy a nearly 4-year-old tuxedo cat living in Wildhorse with the Zhou/Cheng family, was named for International Children’s Day. He’s playful, clever, and known for opening drawers to hunt toys. Once shy with an injured tail, Joy now drinks from faucets, begs for treats, and keeps the family entertained with his mischievous charm.

Kylie Almeida, now a 4th grader at Chesterfield Elementary, has loved gymnastics since age one. Back in February 2025, she competed as a Level 1 gymnast and earned multiple medals, including 2nd place on bars and floor in Jefferson City. Energetic, hardworking and supported by her family, she also enjoys dance, swim team, and Girl Scouts.

The Dong family of Pine Creek took a memorable trip to Sedona, Arizona as their last getaway before welcoming their third child. Inspired by friends, they enjoyed stunning red rock hikes, great food, and watching son Eric bravely tackle tough trails. Despite the heat, the experience was peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable.

The Neighborhood Holiday Lights Contest lit up the season with dazzling, festive displays. Congratulations to last year's winners—the Hofmans, the Pelfreys and the Chmielewskis. Thanks to all who participated!

The first snowfall of the season brought fun, frosty photos - neighbors sledding, building snowmen, and warming up with hot cocoa. A simple, fun reminder of how our neighborhood makes the most of winter.
