Meet the Berry Family
From birthday balloon traditions to fishing at the neighborhood pond, this fun-loving family of four is making the most of their new neighborhood!

The Berry family made their big move into the Wildhorse subdivision in May 2024, and they've been soaking up the neighborhood fun ever since. David and Alexa, along with their two adorable kids—Jack (4) and Mackenzie (2)—have quickly settled into life in this family-friendly area. Both kids attend Bonhomme Preschool, and if you see two tiny humans zipping around on bikes, blowing bubbles, or manning a water table, it’s probably them!
Originally from Ballwin (and before that, Brentwood), the Berrys were drawn to Wildhorse for its schools, strong sense of community, and welcoming vibe. After keeping an eye on the neighborhood for over a year, they finally found a home that felt like “the one.” With a spacious kitchen and living area perfect for hosting family or just enjoying quality time together, the home checked all their boxes. A sentimental link to Nebraska (Alexa’s late father’s home state) made it feel even more meant to be.
David works as a lobbyist for First Capitol Advisors and graduated from Westminster College, while Alexa, a Mizzou grad, handles financial reporting for Ninja HoldCo. Their careers may be serious, but at home, it’s all fun and family time. You’ll find them fishing at the neighborhood pond, hitting up local parks, splashing at the pool, and getting involved in toddler sports like soccer, tee ball, and gymnastics.
Their family traditions are heartwarming—from surprise birthday balloon wakeups and homemade ice cream cakes to holiday outings like Candy Cane Lane and Missouri Botanical Gardens’ light show. They love their beach vacations to 30A in Florida or visiting family at Folly Beach, SC—golf cart rides and all!
The Berrys are foodies too, enjoying homemade steak, stir fry, and pizza nights. Dining out favorites include East Coast Pizza, Syberg’s, and the ever-classic Annie Gunn’s for date night.
Fun fact? Alexa’s sister moved just four miles away, and the cousins are loving it. What’s not to love about more family, more fun, and more memories just around the corner?
