Sims works as the Operations Manager for IMC Logistics in Marine Drayage, keeping things running smoothly on and off the job. Marlayna brings her passion for travel, fitness, and event planning to the mix, creating a vibrant and well-rounded family life.

The Dowdys are big on birthdays—especially since Sims and Marlayna’s special days are just two days apart! Every year, they plan an extravagant vacation to celebrate, creating unforgettable memories together. They also travel annually to South Dakota to visit family and keep those faraway connections strong. Back home, their backyard transforms into the ultimate hangout spot during the warmer months, with blow-up pool parties that are a hit with neighbors and kids alike.

Community matters to the Dowdys, too. Sims is a member of The Propeller Club of Savannah, and the family is active at Compassion Christian Church. When it comes to being neighborly, their message is simple and sincere: “Don’t hesitate to ask if you need anything.”
