Joshua and Brittany Jameson, third-generation owners with a passion for their craft and a deep-rooted connection to the Savannah area, are driving the company forward. Their journey into the family business was fueled by a desire to uphold tradition while fostering growth and innovation. With degrees in Business Management and Accounting, Josh and Brittany bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles, but they agree that hands-on experience is the best teacher.

Their journey into the family business was about continuing and building upon a legacy with a vision for growth and innovation. Married in 2014, they consciously returned to their roots and joined the family enterprise. However, they soon discovered that family, to them, encompassed more than just their immediate kin. It extended to their loyal employees, some of whom have been with the company for nearly three decades.

In 2016, their family expanded once again with the birth of their daughter, Addelyn, bringing a new dimension to their commitment to both business and family. Weekends are filled with a competitive spirit as they watch Addie excel as an AAU gymnast locally and across the Southeast. This addition strengthened their bond and deepened their resolve to create a nurturing environment within the company where employees feel valued and supported.

From the hustle and bustle of corporate life, Josh and Brittany find solace and fulfillment on their hobby farm in Effingham County. Here, amidst the serenity of rural life, they tend to their land and nurture their growing family, finding inspiration that drives their pursuit of excellence in business and life.

Overhead Door Company of Savannah™ is involved in helping the community. In 2017 and 2019, they completed door installations for Mungo Homes and Dream Finders to contribute to St Jude’s home build. These homes were donated to children’s families during and after diagnosis and treatment of illness. In October 2022, they donated a door to Lennar Homes for the Home for a Hero project. The home was given to a local family of a deceased soldier.

 

As Ghost Pirates sponsors, they participate in the annual Teddy Bear Toss event during season games and “toss” Overhead Door teddy bears onto the ice, donated to the children’s hospital for patients undergoing treatment.
