Angelica Obregon is Making an Impact One Real Estate Goal at a Time

When you meet Angelica Obregon, you’re not just meeting a mortgage broker—you’re meeting a passionate advocate for financial empowerment, real estate education, and community connection. As the owner of Key Mortgages, a boutique mortgage brokerage serving Georgia, Florida, and beyond, Angelica has made it her mission to help clients secure not only competitive financing but a smart, long-term game plan for building wealth.
Her firm stands out by offering access to over 200 lenders nationwide, meaning she can tailor each loan to fit her client’s unique goals—whether they’re buying their first home, refinancing, or scaling a real estate investment portfolio. But what truly sets Angelica apart is her deep commitment to personalized service and strategic guidance.
“I don’t just help people get loans—I help them build long-term wealth,” she says. “I treat every client like family and make myself available every step of the way.”
While her business is boutique in size, it’s mighty in impact. Angelica works closely with a detail-oriented loan processor and a seasoned investor to offer clients a smooth, informative experience from application to closing. Her growth has been powered not by advertising, but by referrals—proof of the trust and value she brings to each relationship.
Angelica’s journey into the mortgage world was inspired by family. Raised in Florida by a Colombian family, she was greatly influenced by her stepfather, a dedicated real estate investor who instilled in her a passion for ownership and long-term thinking. His advice—“Never sell real estate”—became the foundation of her professional philosophy. Now, together with her husband Kevin, also a real estate enthusiast and full-time pharmacist at Memorial Health, Angelica is helping clients build legacies, just like her family once did.
Since settling in the Pooler–Savannah area in 2015, Angelica has become more than a business owner—she’s a neighbor, a community voice, and a proud mom to two daughters, Sophia and Emily. Her bilingual household reflects her diverse roots (she’s from Colombia; her husband from Costa Rica), and she’s passionate about serving families of all backgrounds with care and clarity.
When she’s not helping clients, Angelica enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new cultures, and staying involved in the local real estate scene. “Real estate is more than my job,” she explains. “It’s our lifestyle.”
Looking to the future, Angelica plans to expand her reach by bringing on experienced loan officers who share her passion for service and excellence. But no matter how far Key Mortgages grows, she’s committed to staying personal, responsive, and rooted in her core values.
Angelica’s advice to local residents?
“Don’t wait for the perfect time to get started. Real estate is a powerful tool for building wealth—have a conversation, learn your options, and start with a strategy. That’s how you create lasting change.”
