What are the favorite features of your home in Westbrook? 

As a builder, I’ve always appreciated the details in this house. The kitchen is one of my favorite spots—the La Cornue range and Sub-Zero fridge are as functional as they are beautiful. I also love the butler’s pantry with the built-in Wolf cappuccino maker—it’s a game-changer in the mornings. For fun, the movie theatre and the pool with its pool house have given us a lot of good times. And I have to say, the third-floor bunk room is a favorite—it’s perfect for the kids and their friends when they’re all hanging out.

Any recent renovations done to your home? 

I’ve done quite a bit over the years. The kitchen got a custom island, new granite, and a wine and cigar pantry, plus new lighting throughout. The butler’s pantry was updated with new countertops, backsplash, and cabinets. I also redesigned the staircase in the living room and gave most of the rooms new paint, wallpaper, and fixtures. The theatre has new seating, my son’s room and bathroom were completely redone, and the library and game room both got custom shelving and upgrades. Outside, I added new landscaping, lighting, seating areas, daybeds, and a firepit, plus fresh finishes in the pool house. It’s been important to me that every renovation not only looks good but also adds real function to the home.

What are some favorite memories in your home and neighborhood? 

Some of my best memories are simple ones—movie nights with the kids in the theatre, cookouts and get-togethers by the pool, and having friends over to enjoy the firepit. Westbrook has a great community feel, so it’s been a perfect neighborhood to raise a family.

Any other comments you would like to share? 

This home has meant a lot to me. I’ve been able to put my experience as a builder into it, making updates that blend style and practicality, but more than anything it’s been a place where my kids and I have made a lot of memories. It’s a house that’s easy to live in and easy to love.
