Westbrook residents have a new reason to cheer—literally. In May 2025, Top Gun Savannah officially opened its doors, bringing with it a legacy of excellence, a powerhouse coaching staff, and a family-oriented culture that’s already making waves in our community.

Top Gun Savannah is the newest branch of Top Gun All Stars, one of the most respected and successful cheer programs in the world. This Savannah-area expansion is especially unique, created through the merger of three of our area’s strongest programs—Cheer Savannah, Savannah Sharks, and Crowned Elite Athletics. The result? A one-of-a-kind hub where athletes train alongside the best local talent under the guidance of nationally recognized coaches.

With two premier facilities—one in Pooler and one in Richmond Hill—Top Gun Savannah offers a full range of opportunities. From recreational cheer and tumbling classes to competitive All-Star teams, summer camps, clinics, and private lessons, athletes of every level can find a place to learn, grow, and thrive. The gyms themselves are state-of-the-art, equipped with spring floors, tumble tracks, and stunt areas designed to bring out the best in every athlete.

But what truly sets Top Gun Savannah apart is its culture. Here, athletes aren’t just training to perform; they’re building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. As Head Coach and owner, Adrian Butler explains, “Athletes don’t just join a team—they join a family.”

Leading the way is Adrian Butler, a veteran all-star cheerleading coach who cheered for 15 years before transitioning into coaching, choreography, and now ownership. Originally from Virginia and Florida, Adrian relocated to Savannah Quarters just five months ago, bringing with him a wealth of experience and passion for the sport.

For Adrian, cheerleading has never just been about the trophies. It’s about creating an environment where kids can try something new, push themselves further than they thought possible, and develop values that carry them beyond the gym. “If you have a child who wants to try something new in an environment that supports growth, discipline, and athleticism,” Adrian says, “this is the place for them.”

Though Top Gun Savannah is still in its first year, the excitement is palpable. With access to Top Gun’s championship-winning training methods, connections to national opportunities, and a proven legacy of excellence, Savannah athletes now have a direct pathway to the highest levels of the sport—right here at home.
