Rock the Roof

Studio 76 Brings Disco Glam to Sarasota

Get ready to dance the night away for a cause at Rock the Roof: Studio 76, the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s annual rooftop celebration benefiting Women & Children’s Services at Sarasota Memorial.

On November 7, the rooftop of Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s West Parking Garage will transform into a glittering disco-inspired party, complete with ‘70s-inspired fashion, music, dancing and plenty of reasons to celebrate. Guests can expect culinary delights, a DJ spinning the soundtrack of the era and a high-energy performance by Fly Dance Fitness.

Leading the evening once again are returning co-chairs Jennifer Kucera, Melissa Wright-Perrin and Heather Wrigley, who are bringing the community together in support of programs and services that benefit women, children and families throughout the region.

This year’s celebration is especially meaningful. The Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation is marking its 50th anniversary of providing philanthropic support to Sarasota Memorial, and the theme for Studio 76 takes its inspiration from the year the Foundation was established. The result is an evening that looks back at the disco era while celebrating five decades of community generosity and the possibilities ahead.

“Rock the Roof has become a wonderful way to kick off our event season,” says Stacey Corley, president of the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation. “As we celebrate the Healthcare Foundation’s 50th anniversary, Rock the Roof: Studio 76 provides the opportunity to honor five decades of generosity while looking ahead to the impact we can make together for generations to come.”

Beyond the dancing and disco glam, the evening has a meaningful purpose. Proceeds will directly support programs and services for women and children at Sarasota Memorial, helping provide resources that enhance care for patients and families across the community.

Start planning the outfit, gather your friends and get ready to turn back the clock to 1976, when the rooftop becomes the dance floor and philanthropy gets a little more fun.
