Holliday Group

Turning Vision into Reality: Patrick Graham, COO

Long before he became the operational backbone of Holliday Group, Chief Operating Officer Patrick Graham mastered a very different kind of stage. He began his career in New York working in the performing arts as a technical director—a demanding role requiring exact precision, timing, and the ability to orchestrate highly complex productions from entirely behind the scenes. While others took center stage, Patrick ensured every light cue, set change, and technical element worked seamlessly. Today, he applies that exact same operational mindset to high-end construction in Southwest Florida: success is built through relentless preparation, coordination, and execution.

With 22 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, including over two decades working closely with founder Craig Holliday, Patrick has been a pivotal force behind the company’s growth. As the engine that keeps the firm pushing forward, he balances big-picture strategic thinking with a microscopic attention to detail. By engaging directly in the mechanics of execution—identifying inefficiencies, solving logistical problems, and empowering field teams to perform at their highest level—he successfully bridges the gap between executive vision and job site reality.

At Holliday Group, Patrick oversees all construction operations, from solving high level field issues to communicating with project owners. He translates complicated structural hurdles into clear, actionable solutions, ensuring all projects stay on schedule and on budget without ever compromising quality. Construction in Sarasota’s high-density coastal environments is inherently unpredictable, but Patrick's system is built for overcoming challenges.

Patrick's logistical footprint is visible across Sarasota’s commercial and residential markets. While he manages a diverse portfolio, he takes particular pride in commercial builds. Having executed dozens over the years, he thrives on helping clients bring their visions to light. Recently, he completed the comprehensive commercial buildout for Tommy Bahama. This high-profile project involved completely redoing both floors of the building—creating a pristine retail store on the bottom level and a full-service restaurant on the top while perfectly executing their strict corporate brand guidelines. Patrick has also built-out multiple dog perfect retail stores in the Sarasota area, completing these projects with efficiency has made them a repeat client for Holliday Group. Currently, he is managing the final stages of a 23,000-square-foot rock climbing gym, a multi-use facility featuring a traditional fitness center, a dedicated podcasting room, and a yoga studio.

Above all, Patrick cares deeply about the community he serves. When he is not managing active sites, he and his wife of 29 years, Dianna Graham, are deeply embedded in Sarasota, a city they have called home for over 28 years. They are passionate advocates for local animal rescues, specifically focusing on dogs. Outside of volunteering, they maintain an active lifestyle taking full advantage of the area's vibrant arts scene, live music, and beaches. Whether boating on the bay, walking the downtown farmers market, or grabbing fresh seafood at local Village spots, Patrick is fully invested in his city. He is the trusted operational force turning complex visions into Sarasota’s reality.
