Keith Stopko founded the local Granite Garage Floors franchise in Sarasota in January 2023, followed by a Naples location in May 2024. A retired law enforcement officer from New Jersey with a background in construction, Keith has found success bringing a high-caliber service to Southwest Florida homeowners and businesses, one pristine floor at a time.

 

After retiring from law enforcement in 2015, Keith moved to Florida, ready to embrace retirement. However, it didn’t take long for boredom to set in.

 

“I was in construction before law enforcement, so I had that skill set,” he says. “After retiring, I worked in project management and sales for a roofing company, but I wanted to do something for myself.”

“I love fishing and spending time with my wife, Tina, and our family,” he says. The couple has three grown sons and two grandchildren, who are a constant source of joy.

 

Keith’s love for Florida runs deep, having traveled to the state throughout his life. His parents moved to Florida in 2007, and Keith followed suit when he retired.

 

“This is where I always knew I’d end up,” he says. “There’s something about the water and the lifestyle here that just feels right.”

 

With two locations in Sarasota and Naples, Keith has big plans for Granite Garage Floors in Southwest Florida. Keith credits his success to his unwavering work ethic and focus on quality.

 

“Doing what I say I’m going to do has always been my mantra,” he says.
