From August 7-10, 2025, Yoknapatawpha Arts Council will host its yearly “Bit of the Sip” festival. Bit of the Sip is a four-day food and beverage festival designed to celebrate the rich culinary culture of Mississippi. From chefs and mixologists to bakers, farmers, and food entrepreneurs, this event spotlights the diverse voices and talents shaping the Southeast food scene.
The festival will feature a range of experiences, including tastings, workshops, chef-led dinners,
cocktail and mocktail events, cooking classes, demos, panel discussions, and more.
The goal of “Bit of the Sip” is to promote the economic and cultural impact of the culinary
industry in Mississippi by showcasing local and regional talent, encouraging community
connection through food, and uplifting the creative individuals who define our shared food story.
