Say hello to Bella Burkes Smith, our adorable September Pet of the Month! This 3.5-year-old Cavapoo has stolen the hearts of everyone she meets—with her sweet personality, love for adventure and loyalty to her family.

Bella came from LeeRose Puppies in Missouri, and since her arrival, three more Cavapoos from the same breeder have found homes in Oxford—clearly, she started a trend! Bella is the ultimate mama’s girl and can usually be found snuggled up on top of her mom’s pillow at night (before curling up between her parents by morning).

Her favorite things include car rides, pool days, visiting Funkys, and going just about anywhere her family goes. Bella’s quite the traveler—she’s already visited 14 states, attended away Ole Miss football games, and even made two trips to the College World Series at just six months old to cheer on the Rebels!

When it comes to snacks, Bella has a soft spot for human food, dental treats, and a scoop of ice cream every now and then. Her go-to vet is Lee Payne, and she loves a spa day with Kristin at Pampered Paws.

With her big heart, smart little mind, and love for everyone she meets—especially her puppy friends Benni Rousseau, CoCo, and Buddy Porter. Bella's mom, Lindsay, shared, "Bella completed our family and added the perfect touch of fun! She’s so smart and loyal and we love her so very much!"
