Goodbye Wisconsin, Hello Texas

Two years ago, the Frontz family traded snowy Wisconsin for sunny Twin Rivers, drawn to Waco by career opportunities for Kevin

Kevin and Ashley's story began up north in Wisconsin, and now they are proud of their family's journey as they adapt to life in Texas—emphasizing the importance of community, family, and generosity. Ashley’s first visit to Texas was the day they moved, and the experience has been exciting and rewarding ever since. The couple has been married for 11 years and they have three children: Vaeda (8), Wells (5), and Baker (3). Vaeda is heading into 3rd grade at South Bosque Elementary and she enjoys sports, especially softball, dance, and gymnastics. Wells will be a Kindergartener who loves biking, playing Roblox with friends, and eating out at different restaurants across Waco. Baker, the youngest, is fearless and enjoys playtime of any sort with his older siblings.

Kevin is the plant manager at AbbVie's eyecare manufacturing facility in Waco, a role he much enjoys. Surrounded by passionate individuals dedicated to making a difference, he finds inspiration in his work, aiming to motivate other leaders both in work and life. Meanwhile, Ashley embraces her role as a stay-at-home mom, grateful for the ability to raise and guide their children through life.

While they don’t have pets, they fulfill their children's desires for one through involvement with Pet Circle, a local animal shelter the family recently found. The children learn generosity and giving back as they’ve organized lemonade stands to donate money to the shelter—an idea sparked after enjoying a 'bark break' at Pet Circle.

The VTR swimming pool is one of their favorite meeting places and is visited multiple times a week. As a result, they’ve created great friendships with neighbors. Nightly golf cart rides also offer opportunities to explore and meet new neighbors, while trips to the zoo, Mayborn Museum, and Arboretum events add to their experiences in Waco. Celebrating holidays, particularly the 4th of July and Christmas, is significant for their family.

From the snowy landscapes of Wisconsin to the sunny days in Texas, the Frontz family appreciates their experiences in Twin Rivers and Waco. Their story illustrates the rewards of new journeys, adapting to a new environment, embracing community, and cherishing family bonds.
