Athletic, Artistic, and Always in Motion
Meet 7th-grader Allie Parker and twin sister of Aaron Parker (our Athlete of the Month)

Allie with the family dog, Brutus
Allie played HOT soccer for the Rainbow Cheetahs for three years as a winger. While she was shy when she first started, her confidence grew steadily with practice and experience. She especially enjoyed being part of the team and sharing the field with her friends.
In addition to soccer, Allie has a deep love for dance. She has studied at Joy’s School of Dance for the past five years and currently takes five different classes: tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop — her favorite style. This fall, she also plans to expand her skills by taking a drill team class at Joy’s.
***pull quote*** "I would like to make the goal tender dance team when I get into high school. I would also like to play soccer for Midway too." Allie
Allie first started playing soccer at the YMCA when she was just four years old, and began dancing a few years later. Dance has always held a special place in her heart and continues to be one of her favorite activities.
Her creativity doesn’t stop there — Allie also enjoys art and has always loved to draw and paint. She even sang in the choir during sixth grade at RVMS, showing her artistic talents extend to music as well.
While she’s still unsure as to what she would like to do when she grows up, she’s considering becoming either a veterinarian or a counselor — two roles that reflect her caring nature and wide range of interests.
****pull quote*** “Allie always works really hard and likes to compete. When you watch Allie play, it’s obvious that she cares about her teammates. She is always encouraging them and cheering them on.” - Aaron Parker, Allie's twin brother
