accents set the tone for a refined experience, the owner and CEO, Raven Alvarez, greets her customers.

about vision, wellness, and the transformative journey of creating Seraphine.
Raven, an author, wellness coach, and body rejuvenation therapist with over 25 years of
experience, truly enjoys making people look and feel beautiful. She explains her vision for the
brand: “We connect with clients through beauty, but can also go deeper and heal root causes
through self-care. I have been a healer all my life so I sort of take that with me wherever I
go.”
Raven grew up in East Brunswick, NJ with two brothers and a sister. She and her siblings
were very close, and their father inspired an active and athletic lifestyle with a focus on tennis,
soccer and track. Her biological mother passed away from cancer when Raven was only eight
years old. “That experience moved me to focus on my health. I was in the library doing
research on health a lot as a kid,” Raven explains. “I was determined to find a cure for cancer,
but learned a lot about the human body in the process.”
London Calling
As a teen, Raven traveled yearly to London for punk rock concerts and fell in
love with the culture and lifestyle there. “I moved to London with a backpack and one
paycheck,” Raven laughs. “I just wanted to see the world!” She went from an iconic party
scene and adventures in over 20 countries, to a schoolteacher and mother of two a decade
later. During that time, she trained as a nutritional therapist, which later expanded into her
career as a health coach after moving back to the US in 2006. In addition to her health
business, she brought back with her a plethora of beauty modalities from around the world,
many of which are available at Seraphine.
Wellness & Beauty
Raven has been in South Florida for the past 10 years. Her work here has involved
yoga, therapeutic bodywork, and introducing these and other modalities to clients with
severe issues from psoriasis, fibroids, and IBS, to diabetes and even cancer. The
healing process can be intense for both parties in these sessions. “Currently, I limit my client
base to those whose process I am really passionate about, because it does take a significant
emotional toll.,” Raven stated.
Through self-care and a shift in lifestyle, Raven helps people overcome challenges they once
believed were incurable or lifelong. Her success with clients involves biohacking techniques,
anti-aging and anti-inflammatory therapies, and detoxing the body, which together result in the
body’s own healing systems being reactivated. No stranger to health challenges herself due
to a family history of cancer, Raven regularly utilizes IV vitamin therapy and massage therapy
to stimulate her own healing energies. “If you choose healthy habits, even if you happen to
get sick you can detox and release things quickly,” she explains.
Opening Seraphine
Raven decided it was time to move on from individual healing work and
to introduce more people to health, beauty, and self-care by having a physical location. She
hired a business coach and added acquisitions and systems operations to her skill set - then
after a year of searching for just the right business to buy, found a wellness center in
Lauderhill.
During the renovation process to add beauty services to that location, Raven and her
husband, Cisco, discovered their present location on Las Olas Blvd, which they renovated for
months and opened in July 2024. This beautifully decorated 3400 sq.ft. space is now their
flagship location.
“I feel super blessed,” Raven explains, “and grateful because I am now exactly where I am
supposed to be. It’s a special luxury to have beauty and wellness services all in one place.”
Seraphine offers non-toxic and fume free nail salon services, full body waxing, lash lifts and
brow shaping, Botox, fillers, facial and skincare services, massage therapy and body scrubs,
two Japanese head spas, weight loss services from peptide therapy to Korean body wraps
and Brazilian wood therapy, IV vitamin therapy, and a medical-grade red light therapy booth
