Rooted in Family, Driven by Excellence: The Story of A.D.S. Plumbing

For the Vassallo family, business is personal. They don’t just offer plumbing services they build
lasting relationships by treating every customer like one of their own. Originally from Long
Island, New York, the Vassallo family has called South Florida home since 1985. Anthony
Vassallo, the founder of A.D.S. Plumbing, leads the family-run business with his partners Tara
Vassallo, his sister who manages the office, and his nephew, Kevin Rosinski, who works in the
field. Other family members, including another brother, Michael, and nephew Joseph. I started
plumbing when I was 17 and took to it very quickly,” said Anthony. He and his brothers first
learned the trade by helping their father, Bob, with weekend side jobs.
The Start of A.D.S. Plumbing
After gaining experience with several plumbing companies in Florida and South Carolina,
Anthony decided it was time to start his own business. He envisioned a company rooted in
fairness, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. “I wanted to give people a fair price
for quality work,” he explained. “We’re a family, and we treat our customers the same way. It’s
about doing what’s right.” Within just two years of launching A.D.S. Plumbing, the company
experienced rapid growth, expanding to six plumbers and five vans. “Before I knew it, we were
doing projects all over new construction and multi-million-dollar homes,” Anthony said.
Growing the Team
In 2016, Anthony’s nephew Kevin joined the company, initially working on projects in Lakeland
and Jacksonville. Soon after, Anthony invited Kevin to relocate to South Florida to be closer to
the company’s home base. “It’s been amazing to grow the company on strong morals and treat
every customer like family,” Kevin said. “We’re building relationships for the future.” Tara came
on board in 2018 to help run the office. After raising her son, Dakota, on Long Island, Dakota
went off to serve in the United States Air Force, that was when she was ready for a new chapter
and moved back to South Florida. “Anthony said, ‘I really need your help.’ I said OK, and I’ve
never looked back,” Tara shared. “He just needed the right people around him. The three of us
grew the business together.” The company name, A.D.S., comes from Anthony’s children
Angela, Dominic, and Sofia. Angela recently graduated from the University of Florida and will
be attending graduate school at UCF. Dominic is studying agriculture management at Florida
Gulf Coast University, and Sofia is entering her senior year of high school in South Carolina.
Looking Ahead
Each year, A.D.S. Plumbing continues to grow in vans, staff, and loyal customers. “We’ve built
this company together, and our strong customer relationships have really helped drive our
success,” said Tara. “Our goal is to double our fleet so we can serve even more people,” Kevin
added. From the start, the company has prioritized integrity, quality, and outstanding service
principles that continue to fuel its growth. In fact, Anthony’s very first customer is still with the
company today. “We’re not here to make a quick sale,” Anthony said. “We’re here to do what’s
right for the customer. That’s always been our priority.” Anthony credits his parents for instilling
a strong work ethic in him something he believes is all too rare today. Outside of work, Tara
enjoys yoga and relaxing at the beach, while Anthony and Kevin share a love of golf, fishing,
and hunting. At A.D.S. Plumbing, it’s not just about pipes and fixtures it’s about people, values,
and family.
