Luna Finds Her Way Home

In Venetian Isles, the home of Hank, Christine, Kyla, Naomi, and Adriana, has recently gotten a whole lot livelier thanks to their newest furry family member. Luna, a 15-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog, has taken over the house, the couch, and the hearts of everyone around her.
Luna's journey home is a story in itself. The family found her in Ohio, but Christine couldn’t bear the thought of the puppy making a long drive. Instead, she flew up to meet the breeder at the airport. "I brought an empty dog bag, picked her up, and flew right back home with her," she says. "She was so big, I had to squeeze her in the bag. I was honestly surprised they let me through."
Her name came from Naomi, who thought it was a perfect fit. The family had a bunny named Midnight, and Luna felt like a sweet nod to their former pet. The names just seemed to go together.
Luna is full of quirks that keep everyone entertained. She runs through the house chasing the girls with playful growls, has teeth like little shark fins, and has a habit of poking her nose into the backs of people’s knees as they walk. She also loves to "count" at you when she’s in attack play mode. And while she hasn’t quite mastered swimming yet, she will happily float on a raft in the middle of the pool like a fuzzy queen refusing to get her paws wet.
One of the family’s favorite things about Luna is her morning routine. "She’ll jump on the couch while you’re just sitting there and start licking your ear," Christine says. "If you laugh, she gets even more excited and starts playfully biting. It’s hilarious."
Luna also has a funny habit of underestimating her size. She chases the girls on their scooters and sometimes, without thinking, she runs full speed and tries to dive under the couch.
Spoiled? Absolutely. But it’s the best kind of spoiling. Luna is showered with love and nonstop playtime from her three human sisters. She’s growing fast, but her big personality and fluffy charm have already made her the star of the household.
