At just a year old, Preston Eckerman is already the heart and soul of his family’s home in Venetian Isles. With a soft smile and a calm, cheerful temperament, Preston is described by his mom Emily as “just happy as can be.”

Preston’s journey began with a surprise! He was born five weeks early, arriving just two weeks before Hurricane Helene struck the area. His first days were spent in the NICU, where Emily stayed close by his side. And just as the family was settling in at home, Helene brought flooding to their house, sending them scrambling for safety. Through it all, baby Preston remained calm and strong, earning his place as the family’s little angel.

One of his most charming surprises is his strawberry-blonde hair, which no one in the family expected. Full of sweet moments and gentle surprises, Preston brings light and warmth to everyone around him.

Though still small, Preston is already forming a special bond with his big brother, Parker. He watches him with wide eyes, entertained by every move. It’s a connection that promises years of laughter, fun, and maybe a little mischief.
