The Best Mother's Day Gift Ever

I celebrated my first Mother's Day seventeen years ago. I had an amazing gift- a little boy born two days earlier. The birthday of my first-born child was the beginning of a pretty important weekend for me. A few hours after Will was born (and while I was still in the labor & delivery room) my best friend from law school called my husband to tell me I passed the Bar.  I became a mom and an attorney within a few short hours! I probably will never be able to top that weekend.
As we were getting ready to leave Mercy Gilbert Hospital that Sunday, a nurse came into our room and wished me, "Happy Mother's Day!" It was official. I had joined the ranks of motherhood and celebrated being a mom for the first time.
It's not surprising I started my law career wanting to practice estate planning. It now had significant meaning for me. (Plus, I had a son named Will!) I was now responsible for this little, tiny person. I didn't know him yet, I didn't even know how much I could love him, but I knew it was my job to protect him. I wanted it to be my job to help other mommas do the same.
Are you protecting your kids? Or are you still procrastinating?  If you are a mom, and you haven't created a will or trust, I encourage you to do soEspecially if you have minor children. You do not want a judge to decide who raises your precious child if something should happen to you.
It doesn't matter if you are 29 or 79. If you get your estate plan in place you will have peace of mind knowing you are doing your best to protect your children.  Because no matter how old they are, they will always be our "babies."
Ready to protect your kiddo? We can help! Your Family - Your Plan - Our Purpose.
