WORK HARD, PLAY HARD!

Meet Dion Wilburn, a High School Student & Baseball Player with an Entrepreneurial Spirit.

Dion has lived in the Town of Tioga his whole life. Currently 17 years old, he’s a student at Buchholz High School, where he plays baseball. Playing for the Buchholz Bobcats baseball team and hanging out with his friends are his favorite things about high school. Dion loves pitching for the Bobcats but also plays other positions for the team.  Dion aims to play baseball in college and see where baseball takes him.  When baseball ends, he would like to sell real estate.

In the meantime, he’s a bit of an entrepreneur, having started a dog-walking business with his sister, Kiana. Dion and Kiana know dogs need exercise, too, and provide a safe environment for play and training. They typically take pups to the tennis courts to play in a controlled environment and walk them around the neighborhood during their ‘dog walking’ sessions.  Kiana and Dion are home intermittently throughout the day and evenings, so their availability is flexible.  They also provide dog-sitting services.

Dion admires his dad because of his strong work ethic and his ability to make time for his family.  In his free time, Dion likes to play baseball and basketball for fun and work out at the gym. He also likes to go to the beach and go out on the boat with family and friends.

If you live in Town of Tioga and need dog walking or dog sitting services, don't hesitate to contact our extraordinary young achiever, Dion, and his sister, Kiana, at 352-660-3662.
