Some dogs are born for adventure—and Griffin is one of them. This spirited 20-month-old Havanese belongs to Kerrin and Neil Mirchandani of Tierra Verde, and he’s more than just a pet. “He’s our child,” they say with a smile.

Full of energy and bursting with personality, Griffin joined the Mirchandani family shortly after their beloved dog Grady passed away. 

Affectionate to his core, Griffin adores being by his family’s side. “He’s incredibly social,” says Neil. “He wants love and attention from everyone—but also has a bit of a protective vibe when we’re out walking the neighborhood.”

Don’t let the fluffy coat and cute face fool you—Griffin is as tough as he is tender. Whether he’s on land or at sea, he takes his job as the family’s companion seriously. “He absolutely loves boating,” says Kerrin. “As soon as we get out on the water, he’s completely relaxed. He’s in his element on a boat.”

On weekends, Griffin enjoys morning walks, breakfast with his humans, and plenty of time soaking up the Florida sunshine by the pool. He’s also no stranger to travel, often tagging along on getaways to the Florida Keys—and even enjoying the occasional cruise.

He’s living his best life here in Tierra Verde with his pet parents. He couldn’t be happier finding his FURever home. His tail is still wagging about that!
