“Dean and I love to travel,” says Liz Zwibel Chase. Let’s just say their bags are packed when it comes to adventure. Why? “Traveling feeds our soul,” they explain.

They even took a motorcycle trip and flew the motorcycle to Dallas, Texas. After getting on their motorcycle in Texas, they drove to South Dakota, spending three weeks on the back of a bike. The memories made? Priceless. The time together? Unforgettable. 

“Recently, we spent some time in the Galapagos Islands, Antigua, and the British West Indies, which we love,” says Liz. “We were supposed to go to Japan and Australia, but had to cancel because of a trial.” When the courtroom calls, you have to answer. 

Liz and Dean stress the importance of travel. “We are so myopic in this age,” says Liz. “Usually, we don’t speak a second language. Without the experience of other cultures and other people, it narrows your perspective.” By traveling, you broaden your horizons, enrich your life, and gain a deeper understanding of others.  

As much as they love to travel, Liz and Dean treasure their time on Tierra Verde. “We don’t leave the island on the weekends,” they explain. “Every weekend is a stay vacation.” They can’t imagine living anywhere else. Dean concludes, “We travel the world, but we pinch ourselves because we live in the coolest area ever.” It doesn’t get any better than that.
