Breeder in Pennsylvania.
My first pet in childhood was a Beagle, and I have always been a Snoopy fan. Charles Schulz, the creator of Peanuts, passionately believed in girls' and women's sports and was known for using his cartoons to promote women's sports. I have a Tom Everhart print of Snoopy that hangs in my home, and it represents more than just the love for a Beagle.
Is there a story behind his name?
George is named after one of my favorite movies and actors, Jimmy Stewart's Character from "It's a Wonderful Life."
Anything special or unusual about him?
Special skills include: barking dramatically, stealing shamelessly, locating food in one sniff, and chasing birds and small animals.
What do you like best about your pet?
He is an absolute love.
Any funny stories?
George is a sneaky dog who raids suitcases for personal treasures.
He believes all guest suitcases and any worker's lunch bag are complimentary snack boxes.
