Dogtopia of South Elgin is proud to announce an exciting milestone in its partnership with the Dogtopia Foundation and K9s For Warriors. Chester, the location's sixth sponsored service dog, has officially graduated from training and been matched with Warrior David, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.
Chester's journey began through the support of Dogtopia of South Elgin's pet parents and community members who generously contributed to the Dogtopia Foundation's service dog program. Over the past several months, Chester completed specialized training through K9s For Warriors, the nation's leading provider of service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and military sexual trauma.
