Jamie & Tonya McCutchen have 4 dogs.  KoFi is a poodle and is 9, Tempe (who was supposed to be “temporary”) is a poodle mix and is 4, Bubbles is an Aussie Doodle and will be 2 soon and Tucker is a Malti-Poo and is 1.

But Bubbles is their special dog.  She is named after Jimmy Buffett’s song “Bubble’s Up” because they were told she wouldn’t live long. 

“She was given to us because she has a level 6 heart murmur (which is the worst). The breeder’s vet recommended putting her to sleep but we told him we’d take her.  We took her to a heart specialist once we got her home at 7 weeks old and the doctor told us she probably wouldn’t live to be a year old and surgery might not fix her so we decided to give her the best life possible for the time she’d be with us.  She turns 2 on July 20th and she has no idea anything is wrong with her.  She runs around and plays like a normal dog. Not sure how long she’ll be with us but we love her & she’s a great addition to our family.”

On any given day you could see 4 - 10 dogs in their backyard because their family & friends bring their dogs over to play or get groomed by their groomer.
