Rosie & Teddy: Partners in Paw-some

We have two beautiful pups! Rosie is our 11 month old (she’ll be one on May 22nd!) red miniature Goldendoodle. We brought her into our family, because we wanted to get our other dog, Teddy (a five-year-old salt & pepper miniature Goldendoodle) a friend, and they are BEST friends!
They play all day and sleep right next to each other every night. Rosie is sometimes Rosiebear, Rosie Boo-boo, or hotdog - during her awkward teenage phase, her body was much longer than her legs were tall.
Teddy is Teddybear (she looked like a little black bear cub as a puppy), Ted, Tedlinkin, and Teddy Boo-boo.
Rosie’s favorite toy is a squeaky pink pig that was also Teddy’s favorite toy as a puppy, but her favorite item is any of mommy or daddy’s socks (preferably right after being worn). Pink piggy was destined to be with our girls, because Teddy found it way back underneath a shelf in Marshalls, was so excited when she finally retrieved it, and wouldn’t let it go, so we had to buy it at that point!
If the girls had a theme song, it would be Cheese Tax, and we never finish a meal without sharing at least one bite with each of them. Rosie even took a cheese tax out of our MacBook Pro (completely destroying the screen), and that’s probably the naughtiest thing that she’s ever done.
As a pup, Teddy unraveled a beautiful woven wool rug, and Rosie has ironically developed the habit of chewing rugs as well. Rosie has a special talent of jumping against the screen door, making it slide, to signal that she wants to go outside.
Both of their dream days would look like running in the fields at one of their grandparents’ house, which is also probably their favorite activity other than snuggling with us on the couch and bed at nighttime. If the girls could talk, they would say “Please let us sleep in the bed with you tonight.”
Our favorite memories of the girls is letting them run free on the beach during sunset in Seabrook Island, SC (one of our favorite spots!). What we love most about them is how much they love each other and us.
