Strolling the course with Ben Symes and Kait Driscoll

Strolling on the course, we learned a little more about Thornberry Creek Estate residents Ben Symes and Kait Driscoll. This month, they celebrate the one-year anniversary of purchasing their home in Thornberry. Ben and Kait and their two French bulldogs – Jax (9) and Franky (4 months) – are loving life in our beautiful neighborhood.

Both born and raised in Howard-Suamico, Ben and Kait have known each other for many years but officially started dating three years ago. Together, they enjoy heading up north, being on the golf course, and just enjoying their beautiful backyard and the gorgeous view. If you ask Ben … they chose the neighborhood for the course!

Ben is an entrepreneur by every sense of the word, inheriting his entrepreneurial spirit from his family. He has owned Symba’s Pub and Grub for 17 years. Ben and his brother, Bill, also own Symes Realty, working in residential and commercial real estate. They have a passion for helping others and established the real estate company in 2012, following in their father’s footsteps. Their father was very involved in real estate. Their parents also owned Bill & Teri’s, which is where Symba’s is now.

Kait started in the banking industry nine years ago, and two years ago, made the transition to Nicolet National Bank. Kait oversees the Retail Branches within the De Pere and Green Bay area. She is proud to work at Nicolet as the company’s core values align with her own.  Kait follows this business model not only in her career but also in her personal life. These core values are to be real, be responsive, be personal, be memorable, and be entrepreneurial. She truly values building relationships. Kait’s role at Nicolet allows her the autonomy to make a difference in customers’ and employees’ lives. Kait explains, “At Nicolet, we work hard to matter to our customers, matter in our communities, and matter in our markets.”

In his spare time, Ben is an avid deer hunter. He spends September through November hunting in Richland Center, WI. In the summer months, you will find Ben on the golf course. Kait enjoys spending time with family and friends. They both attend BODE Bootcamp in Howard. Ben and Kait are both on the GRIT 920 board. The GRIT program is a local nonprofit that works with kids of varying abilities within the Pulaski and Howard-Suamico school districts to promote fitness and health in an inclusive space.

Ben and Kait are passionate about helping others, are involved with various organizations, and enjoy giving back to the community. They enjoy hosting family gatherings and are Supper Club FANATICS! What they value most are health, happiness, and family.

Welcome to the neighborhood!
