All About Easton!

This month we are pleased to feature Easton Goodfellow! Easton is 6 years old and is in first grade at Eichelberger Elementary in Bolingbrook. He is the grandson of residents LaVerne Susmarski and Frank Sciacca of Lake Mary Drive in the Lakelands Club.

Easton is the goalie for his hockey team through the Sabre Hockey Association in Naperville. The Sabre Hockey Association was originally founded as the Naperville Hockey League, Inc. on June 22, 1971. The founding members, W.J.G. Cudmore, George J. Benuska and James D. Wright, had one thing in mind, bringing competitive youth hockey to this growing western suburban area. Easton's team plays at All Seasons Ice Rink in Naperville.

Easton's team is doing great this year and currently ranks second in the state. As the team's goalie, he is doing phenomenally! Most of his teammates are 7 and 8 years old, so at 6 years old, Easton is the youngest member of the team. Go, Easton!

Easton also enjoys playing baseball and hockey. His favorite animal is a cheetah, his favorite color is violet, and his favorite food is pizza. He loves pizza so much, in fact, that he says he wants to make pizzas when he grows up! (He's been saying this since he first learned to talk!)

When he isn't busy on the ice rink or at school (where his preferred subject is the Daily 5, where he can pick an activity like reading or writing), he enjoys watching his favorite movie, Elf, or listening to music like "Kickstart My Heart." He also loves vacationing up north in Green Lake, WI.

Thank you to Easton and his grandparents for sharing this information with our readers!
