Meet the Kratzer Family

This month, Stroll The Georgia Club recognizes the Kratzer family. Reggie Kratzer is originally from Nebraska, but he grew up moving all around the Midwest. Reggie’s wife, Laura Kratzer, is a native Georgian and hails from Roswell, GA. For his undergraduate studies, Reggie attended Lindenwood University outside of St. Louis, while Laura attended Chico State and graduated from Columbia College. The couple first met through mutual friends in 2004, and now they are happily married with two wonderful children, Kadence (13) and Karson (9).

The Kratzer family was introduced to The Georgia Club community in 2015 after receiving an offer to run and manage the club’s golf and country club amenities. Since they first moved in, they have helped shape the neighborhood and have seen it transform into the premier private country club it is today. “We love the relationships we have built with many of our members,” states Laura. “We have seen the club more than double in size since we took over, and we are so proud of how far it has come!” Reggie and Laura also loved moving here because it was the perfect opportunity to raise their kids in a small-town environment with a very welcoming atmosphere.

In their time outside of their work with TGC, Reggie and Laura stay heavily involved with Kadence and Karson’s sports and other social engagements. This keeps the family very busy, but they still like to find time to enjoy the club’s amenities for themselves. Reggie enjoys playing golf, collecting memorabilia, and fishing, while Laura enjoys cooking, decorating, fashion, and spending time with her family.
